CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — A day care owner says a couple who attacked his pre-K teacher did not care that it happened in front of two dozen children.
It wasn’t the first time police have been called because of one of the women, the owner told Channel 2 Action News. He says one of Ebonie Moore’s children became so irate when asked to do her homework, that she attacked the teacher and threw furniture.
He says that was a week before the child’s mother and her girlfriend showed up at the day care and administered a beatdown on the same teacher.
“As a parent, you should be able to show some example for your children,” day care owner Alex Gontee said.

Gontee says Moore and her girlfriend, Kenyata Jackson, showed a poor example of how adults should act.
He says in November they barged into the Ty-Lexine day care and after-school program, and attacked one of his assistant pre-K teachers.
“They had her neck like in a chokehold,” Gontee said.
He says they kicked her, punched her and pulled her hair.
Channel 2’s Tom Jones asked if any of the kids saw what happened.
“Yes. All of the kids were downstairs. We have about 25 kids. Twenty-one kids were down there,” Gontee said.
Jones was in court when Moore heard she faces felony battery on school personnel and causing a riot.
The warrant indicated the attack left the teacher with raised knots, swelling and redness on her face and elsewhere on her head.
Gontee says the pair attacked the teacher after one of Moore’s children told his mother the teacher didn't like them.
He says a week before that, police were called to the day care after one of Moore’s kids got out of control.
“This kid got mad because the teacher told them to do their homework and they didn't want to do it,” Gontee said.
Now this.
Gontee says the attack was really brutal.
“I had to jump in in the middle and pull them from that lady. Two ladies jumping that teacher,” Gontee said.
He says the teacher is OK and has found another job.
The judge gave Moore a $20,000 bond.
As of Friday evening, records did not show whether Jackson had been arrested.
