Passengers who were stuck on a cruise ship off the coast of France arrived at the Atlanta airport Friday.
But some say they are still waiting to get off the plane and screened.
Channel 2′s Mike Petchenik confirmed with the governor’s office there are 359 passengers on the plane at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.
Three people have tested positive for COVID-19 with no symptoms, while 13 are sick but have not been tested.
“All passengers are being offloaded in a hangar now for screening. Encouraged US HHS here to launch their two commercial buses to the airport so that they are standing by when the screening is complete. GSP will escort the buses,” the governor’s office said.

Petchenik spoke with a couple on the cruise ship on Wednesday. Kelly Edge and her husband boarded the Costa Luminosa on March 6 in Florida.
“We were told everything is fine and that there were no cancellations, no concerns and no refund," Edge said.
But Edge said things changed just days into their luxury cruise.
“We got off the ship and I saw an ambulance next to the ship and I said to my husband, 'Wow I hope that’s not coronavirus," she said.
