2 more people arrested in murders of three men at Paulding County home

PAULDING COUNTY, Ga. — Two more people have been arrested on murder charges in connection to the deaths of three people in Paulding County last month.

The Paulding County Sheriff’s office said they were called to reports of three people shot at a home on Chesapeake Way in Rockmart on March 21.

Investigators found one person dead at the scene and two others died at the hospital. The victims have been identified as 42-year-old Clinton Aiola, 30-year-old Cody Fuller and 30-year-old Davauntee Ramsay.

Investigators determined that two men came to the home in order to rob the three victims and ended up shooting all three.

Deputies and US Marshals arrested Carlos Favors-Battle, 26, in Douglasville March 24.

Authorities arrested two more people earlier this month. Bridgette Skye Jones, 28, was arrested in Douglas County on April 1. Deputies said she was in the area at the time of the murders and had direct knowledge about the incident.

On April 6, US Marshals arrested Justin Quartez Sims, 29, in Rome. Detectives determined Sims was the other suspect who went to the home where the murders happened.

Favors-Battle is being held on three counts of felony malice murder, three counts of murder during the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, three counts of aggravated assault with the intent to rob/murder, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and probation violation.

Justin Quartez Sim is being held on three counts of felony malice murder, three counts of murder during the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and three counts of aggravated assault with the intent to rob/murder.

Jones has been charged with three counts of concealing the death of another and hindering the apprehension of a fugitive.

Deputies said it is likely that the suspects will face additional charges.
