DALLAS, Ga. — A Paulding County man has been sentenced to spend the rest of his life in prison after being found guilty of killing his mother’s boyfriend, according to the district attorney’s office.
Deputies say that in June 2020, then-22-year-old Clark Chandler Anderson shot and killed 56-year-old Kevin Mack Murr.

When deputies arrived at the home on Summer Glen Trail in Dallas, they found Murr dead inside the home.
Investigators say that after an argument between Anderson and Murr, Anderson got a handgun and shot Murr several times.

Earlier this week, a Paulding County jury found Anderson guilty of malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
After the jury reached their verdict, the judge sentenced him to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
