The case has now drawn in the assistance of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

Baulding’s family says the 30-year-old tried to get away, but the killer caught up with him. Detectives aren’t saying this is a murder right now.
Baulding, described as a star athlete by members of the community, was found dead from a gunshot wound. You took my heart from me and I just don’t understand why,” Charvis’ sister, Chasity Baulding told Channel 2′s Tom Jones. She wants her brother’s killer to know her heart is broken after she says someone murdered him January 11th.
Charvis’ mother had this to say to the killer. “How do you sleep at night? How could you eat a meal?” Willene Cummings wondered.

Chasity believes someone broke into her brother’s home on Riverbend Trail around noon that day and shot him. She showed Jones where a glass window at the home was broken and now boarded up.
“There’s a bullet hole right there through the garage,” she pointed out.
She said her brother was found in the doorway to the garage.
Baulding told Channel 2 Action News that detectives have shared very few details about their investigation.
“It’s very frustrating not having any answers, any idea. I mean nothing. We have nothing,” she said.
A Paulding County Sheriff’s Department spokesperson said right now they’re only calling this a death investigation since there are a lot of details to be worked out.
Chasity says this is more than a death investigation.
“It is a murder,” she said.
Her family wants the person responsible captured and put behind bars, and they really want more information about this investigation.
“After three weeks you can at least tell the family if you have something or nothing,” she told Jones.
Paulding County detectives have brought the GBI in to assist in their investigation.
