DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ga. — Douglasville police said Interstate 20 westbound was shut down temporarily while crews airlifted a pedestrian hit by a pickup truck.
Authorities said the person was hit near the exit to Post Road.
The victim was airlifted to a local hospital.
Delays are expected in the area as authorities investigated the serious accident.
