ATLANTA — Georgia’s two senators are voicing their support of an increase in stimulus payments to Americans amid the coronavirus pandemic.
David Perdue tweeted Tuesday morning his support of $2,000 payments.
Kelly Loeffler was on Fox News Tuesday morning where she said she will support $2,000 stimulus checks.
.@SenatorLoeffler says she'll back Trump's demand for $2,000 stimulus checks this AM. "I've stood by the president 100% of the time. I'm proud to do that and I've said, absolutely, we need to get relief to Americans now and I will support that." #gasen https://t.co/wA8vJmQrzG

Tuesday morning, President Trump reiterated his call for $2,000 stimulus payments.
$2000 for our great people, not $600! They have suffered enough from the China Virus!!!

The Democratic two Senate candidates, Jon Ossoff and Rev. Raphael Warnock, both call on $2,000 stimulus payments.
We can pass $2000 relief checks for the people, but we have to win this Senate election.

Senate Republicans are the only reason Georgians won't receive a $2000 relief check.

Trump agreed. Democratic leaders in the House and Senate agreed. But Loeffler and McConnell refused. After blocking relief for nine months.
When we win, we'll get families the help they need.
On Monday, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the bill calling for an increase in direct payments to millions of Americans. The vote came a day after President Donald Trump signed into law a $900 billion COVID-19 stimulus bill that included $600 direct payments to millions of Americans.
Sen. Chuck Schumer says he will try to get a vote Tuesday on a bill to boost direct stimulus payments from $600 to $2,000 for millions of Americans, even though the measure appears to have little chance of surviving the Republican-led Senate.
