ATLANTA — The trial for four men accused of beating a gay man in Atlanta was delayed Tuesday morning because the defendants made a plea agreement.
The trial of Jarvaris Bradford, Dorian Moragne, Christopher Cain and Dareal Williams was scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m., but the judge announced in open court that all four had come to an agreement to plead guilty to all charges.
They were accused of beating Brandon White, 20, outside a southwest Atlanta store in February. White's attorney said the men beat his client because he is gay.
A video of the beating was posted on the Internet, prompting the investigation and arrests on charges of aggravated assault and robbery.
