That’s when people inside the store started shooting back, police said. The shootout spilled out into the streets, and people continued shooting at each other as they ran from the store, officers said.

In total, five people were injured, and one person was killed.

  1. Devontay Barnwell, age 19, killed.
  2. Curtincia Jones, age 13, critical condition.

  4. J-Mya Jones, age 22, stable condition.
  5. Cartez Gibbs, age 31, stable condition.
  6. Curtis Coffey, age 43, stable condition.

Investigators said there have been no arrests at this time, but they are still questioning witnesses and reviewing surveillance footage from the store.
