Police investigating after human remains found off side of highway in Gwinnett County

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Police are investigating after presumed human remains were found near a creek in Gwinnett County Monday night.

Channel 2′s Gwinnett County Bureau Chief Matt Johnson was near Drowning Creek Road off of Ga. 316, where officers said they are not sure if foul play was involved.

Investigators have not said how long they believe remains have been at the location or released any details about the victim.
