ROME, Ga. — Police are investigating an alleged murder-suicide at a Rome Chick-fil-A restaurant.
Officers said they were called out to the restaurant along Shorter Avenue around 7 a.m. Wednesday.
When police got to the scene, they found Anthony Green and Cassie Davis, both of Rome, dead inside a car on the restaurant’s property.

Investigators said the two were a couple. They said from all indications, Green shot and killed Davis, and then turned the gun on himself.
Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
The restaurant said it will remain closed for the day and plans to reopen Thursday morning.
