GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Gwinnett County police are investigating a murder in Peachtree Corners Sunday afternoon.
Police said officers were called out to reports of a person shot shortly after 11:30 a.m. on Hunter’s Ridge Lane.
Police found the victim lying in the road with at least one gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to the hospital, where he died.
Police said a stray bullet damaged one other unit in the complex but no one else was hurt.
Investigators with the homicide unit and the crime scene unit are processing the scene.
It’s unclear if the police have identified a suspect.
The victim hasn’t been identified pending notification of next of kin. Police said it’s unclear if he lived at the complex or not.
