GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Police have arrested the man they say attacked a good Samaritan with a knife after she gave him a ride to a home in Duluth Friday.
Gwinnett County police said they found Raul Arrue-Valle at around 9:30 p.m. Thursday.
He was found in the area of East Hill Way and Victor Trail in unincorporated Norcross. A tip helped authorities make the arrest.
On June 18, a woman was approached by Arrue-Valle at the QuikTrip convenience store on Beaver Ruin Road in unincorporated Norcross, according to a police report.
Police say she didn't know him but he asked for a ride claiming he was from out of town and unfamiliar with the area.

“When he got inside the car, he did not give her a specific address to go to,” Corporal Michele Pihera told Channel 2’s Liz Artz on Thursday. “Turn right here, turn left here, no specific address.”
When the victim approached the intersection of Green Street and Eagle Terrace in unincorporated Duluth about a mile away from the QuikTrip, police say he turned off the ignition to the woman’s car and lunged at her with a knife.
“She started screaming during the altercation, and that’s when the suspect got out and ran away,” said Pihera.
The victim was not seriously injured, but did get a small cut to her hand, police said.
Authorities say Arruevalle left behind his cellphone in the victim's passenger seat, which is how they could identify him.
Arrue-Valle is at the Gwinnett County Jail.
