EAST POINT, Ga. — East Point police released photos of a woman they said was a person of interest in the case of an unidentified teenager found beaten to death in East Point last month. They later said they have identified the woman and don’t believe she was involved.
ORIGINAL STORY:
The body of a young Black teen was found at a vacant home on Ben Hill Road on Feb. 12. An autopsy determined she died from blunt force trauma.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation released sketches of the girl, who was wearing a necklace with “2005″ on it and an anklet with the letters “Wixked.”

So far, no one has come forward to identify her.
On Wednesday, detectives released a photograph that was extracted from a cellphone on the same property where the girl was found dead.

The women in the photo is only a person of interest that police would like to speak to. The woman appears to have a tattoo of the word “blessed” on her chest.
