Storms strong enough to flip over cars and small planes left a trail of damage across south Georgia Thursday afternoon.
The National Weather Service in Tallahassee reported at least one possible tornado in Moultrie, Georgia, and several other areas, including Hahira, Pelham and Adel, have also reported tornado-like damage.
The City of Moultrie posted just before 2 p.m. that the city had just experienced a tornado.
“We are asking citizens to please stay inside so emergency personnel can assess the damage and clear the roadways,” the city said on its Facebook page.
Photos from our ABC affiliate in Tallahassee show some of the damage.
