DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — No one won Wednesday’s Powerball jackpot worth over $500 million, but one lucky person in Georgia did wake up richer.
Georgia Lottery confirmed to Channel 2 Action News that a gas station in metro Atlanta sold a $50,000.

After Wednesday’s drawing, someone matched four of the five numbers and the Powerball number.
The winner bought the ticket at the Valero gas station and foot mart off 600 W. Howard Ave in Decatur.

How do you claim the ticket if you won?
Georgia Lottery says any prizes les than $600 can be claimed at any of its retailers; however, prizes over $600 must be claimed at the lottery headquarters or district offices or mailed for the payment.
Winners of prizes more than $600 must fill out a winner claim form and have a valid government issued photo ID with a social security card.
In Georgia, winners who purchased their tickets online have 180 days to claim their prize. For winners who buy instant tickets, they only have 90 days from the expired date to claim their prize.
