ATLANTA — The Atlanta Braves’ World Series win is paying off. Literally.
The Braves owners Liberty Media released its 2021 financial reports Friday morning and the Braves brought in record revenues for the company.

Liberty Media reported the Braves saw $568 million in revenue. The Braves made $102 million in revenue alone for the fourth quarter during the team’s postseason run.
“The Atlanta Braves are still basking in the glory of their World Series title,” Liberty Media President and CEO Greg Maffei said in a statement.
Liberty Media said $526 million in revenue were attributed to ticket sales, stadium revenue and local and national broadcasting rights. The other $42 million in income is related to the Battery mixed-use development around Truist Park.
After the adjusted OIBDA was factored, the Braves recorded a profit of $104 million.

Atlanta fans know what they would like the Braves to do with some of the profits: re-sign Freddie Freeman.
The two sides were not able to reach a deal before the MLB lockout started in December and cannot talk until the lockout is over.

Friday marks Day 86 of MLB lockout and Opening Day is schedule only a month away on March 31.
MLB said if a deal is not reached by Monday, regular season games would be canceled. The players have argued back that games could be made up with double headers.
