ATLANTA — Moisture from Tropical Storm Harvey is reaching Georgia, but areas won’t see the type of heavy rain that caused flooding in Texas.

Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Brad Nitz says the rain, which is moisture moisture in the circulation around Harvey along with a warm front, moved into parts of Georgia around noon and metro Atlanta could receive up to two inches through Friday. Parts of north Georgia could see more than three inches.
