Rain to move out throughout tonight, clouds to remain

Scattered showers move through metro Atlanta. 

ATLANTA — It’s cloudy, chilly and light drizzle is still coming down in parts of the metro, but that will change throughout the night.

Temperatures will remain cold Thursday night, with the possibility of a flurry in the higher elevations of the North Georgia Mountains.

By 7 a.m. Friday, the cloud cover will start to break up and clear out throughout the morning and the afternoon.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • Friday morning will be chilly with lows in the low 30s.
  • Clouds will clear out throughout the morning.
  • Temperatures will top out in the mid 40s.
