ATLANTA — You’re going to need an umbrella and a heavy winter coat Wednesday as a front moves through north Georgia.
Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Brad Nitz said the widespread rain could dump up to an inch in some spots Wednesday morning.

The line of rain and possible storms will move through metro Atlanta around 5 a.m.
“There will be likely a wet commute all across metro Atlanta and north Georgia through 7 a.m.,” Nitz said.

As the line moves out, temperatures will drop into the low to mid 50s.
Wind gusts will be as high as 30 mph.
Temperatures will rise back into the mid-60s this weekend.
