Light, wet snow fell in parts of north Georgia; rain in other parts

Some people saw rain, while others saw a wet snow/sleet mix in other parts of north Georgia.

Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Brian Monahan says that most people are seeing rain, but folks above 3,000 feet in northeast Georgia saw the snow-sleet mix.

Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Katie Walls said snow would come to an end by 1 p.m. Friday.

Any accumulation is going to be very light and on grassy surfaces, Walls said.
