ROCKDALE COUNTY, Ga. — Rockdale County deputies are investigating a shooting that left three people dead Monday morning.
Authorities said at 12:10 a.m., deputies received reports of gunshots fired in a Honey Creek subdivision. When deputies arrived, they found three people who had been shot.

They were pronounced dead at the scene. Deputies only identified them as a 17-year-old girl, 50-year-old woman and 51-year-old man.
Deputies arrested 21-year-old Jailon Gray, who was at the home when they arrived. Gray faces three counts of murder.

The sheriff’s office has classified it as a domestic shooting, but they have not confirmed the relationship between Gray and the victims.
Channel 2′s Elizabeth Rawlins was outside the home Monday, where a neighbor told her that he thinks that Gray gunned down his parents and sister.
The sheriff’s office told Rawlins that the shooting stemmed from an argument.
“There was one gun on the scene that we can identify as the firearm that was fired,” deputies said.
The Rockdale County School District confirmed in a statement to Channel 2 Action News that a Heritage High School student was among the victims.
“Grief counselors have been on campus today and will continue to be available for all students, staff, and families as needed,” officials said. “Our thoughts and condolences go out to the student’s family and friends. At this time, we are unable to share or confirm any further information.”
A steady stream of neighbors came by the home Monday to offer their condolences.
It is unclear what led to the shooting. The investigation remains ongoing.
