ROCKDALE COUNTY, Ga. — Rockdale County High School was on lockdown Tuesday over a potential safety threat, the district said in a statement to Channel 2 Action News.
The school district said the threat was airdropped to students and police were at the school assisting with the investigation.
Later in the day, police found no evidence of a threat to the school and lifted the lockdown.
“We appreciate the swift and thorough response of our law enforcement partners who worked with our school safety division to investigate the potential safety threat to our school,” the district said.
