CONYERS, Ga. — Nearly three months after a fire broke out at the BioLab chemical plant, the company says the time to file a claim is soon coming to a close.

The announcement came Wednesday after BioLab updated the community on its claims process completion timing.
BioLab said the volume of new claims has slowed and the company will no longer accept new claims after Dec. 31, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. EST.
“While the new claims filing period is coming to a close, BioLab is maintaining its strong commitment to the community, and the Company will continue to partner with local organizations to provide support moving forward,” BioLab said in a news release.
All eligible claims that are initiated on or before the deadline will be processed as usual.
You can file a claim by emailing the company’s claims email at BioLabClaims@biolabinc.com.
Claims filed by email must include:
- Claimant’s name
- Address
- Phone number
- Items being claimed
- Amount of each claimed item
- Supporting documentation
Claims can also be made by calling BioLab’s 24/7 Call Center at 678- 301-2359.
