ROCKDALE COUNTY, Ga. — The Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a 23-year-old woman accused of murdering her 1-year-old daughter.
Officials say on Jan. 8, the RCSO responded to a call of a person not breathing. When they arrived, they discovered the person not breathing was a 1-year-old child.

Emergency personnel immediately began life-saving measures to resuscitate the child, however, the child was later pronounced deceased at the hospital.
RCSO officials are now looking for the child’s mother, 23-year-old Gloria Wright. Wright has been charged with murder in the first degree and cruelty to children in the first degree.
Wright is being actively sought and RCSO officials are asking for the public’s help locating her.

Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is urged to contact Investigator G. Levett with the Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office.
Their investigation is ongoing.
