SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. — The Sandy Springs police department says it wants to find the remaining suspect in a home invasion and it is offering cold hard cash to help people turn him in.
Jermaine Caldwell is one of eight people accused of breaking into a home on Northside Drive on Oct. 1. A mother was inside with her young daughter at the time.
Police said the suspects held the victims at gunpoint and threatened to kill them. The suspects stole several personal belongings, the victim’s phones and their two cars.

The suspects also threatened to kill the mother if she called the police. The victims cooperated and were not hurt.
Police later tracked down and arrested the suspects: Robert Gunter (18, Atlanta), Norman Thompson (22, Union City), Darryl Johnson (21, Atlanta), Contaiovus Howard (24, Union City), Jude Morgan (24, Atlanta), Montavious Goodwin (22, Union City) and Azhanee Scott (22, Atlanta).
The lone suspect not in custody is Caldwell. He is wanted for conspiracy to commit, home invasion, aggravated assault, false imprisonment, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and theft by taking. There is a $10,000 reward being offered.
