Idol’s official bus tour will hold auditions in Atlanta on Aug. 22 beginning at 9 a.m. at Piedmont Park's Oak Hill.
The groundbreaking series launched the careers of superstars Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson, Katharine McPhee, Jordin Sparks, Adam Lambert and Chris Daughtry among many others.
Idol alumni are responsible for 14 Grammys, over 60 million album sales, 80 Platinum records, 95 Gold records, 450 Billboard No. 1 hits, 260 million digital downloads, two Golden Globes and an Academy Award.

This time around, there are multiple ways to audition -- online, in person, or both.

There will also be bus tour auditions in other cities, just in case you have singing friends who may want to audition as well, if you don’t mind the competition.
You must be between the ages 15 to 28 years old to audition.
