Screaming woman pulled into minivan at Fairburn park

FAIRBURN, Ga. — Police are searching for clues after witnesses saw a woman being forced into a minivan in Fairburn.

Witnesses told police a woman was walking in Duncan Park Wednesday morning when a brown or gold Chevy Uplander pulled up next to her. A black man around 5 feet 5 inches tall and around 25-30 years old got out of the car and dragged the yelling and screaming woman into the car.

The woman was described as being 5 feet 2 inches tall with a dark complexion. One red shoe believed to belong to the woman was found at the park.

Witnesses said another woman in the vehicle also looked upset.

The Uplander had partial tag No. EH. Now, police are pouring over tag numbers for Chevrolet Uplanders in the area.
