ATLANTA — As this weekend’s snowstorm leaves possible icy roads behind, many communities across metro Atlanta are delaying their trash pickup.

In Alpharetta, trash and recycling will not be collected on Monday. All pickup will be delayed by 24 hours, so if your trash is normally picked up on Tuesday, it will be picked up on Wednesday, and so forth.

In unincorporated Gwinnett County, trash is not being picked up on Monday and will be collected a day late throughout the rest of the week. If you’re in a city in Gwinnett County, your trash may still be collected.

In Austell, trash pickup will be pushed back one day throughout the week with Friday pickups being collected on Saturday.

In DeKalb County, trash pickup will begin at 10 a.m., so some residents could see delays in their trash being collected.
