Severe thunderstorms pop up in metro Atlanta

Thunderstorms are moving through parts of north Georgia and some have become severe.

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for Jasper and Newton counties until 7:15 p.m.

• Storms won’t be as widespread compared to Thursday.
• Heavy rain, wind gusts up to 60 mph and hail are possible with storms
