GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — A Gwinnett County family says they were shocked to see surveillance video showing young girls breaking into their home.

The burglary happened Monday on Burning Bush Drive.

Video shows the girls trying to open the front door before going around back through a window.

The homeowners told Channel 2 Action News the girls grabbed just about everything they could find, including underwear, makeup and pricey electronics. They also said drawers were opened and beds were overturned.

Marissa Campos, who lives in the home, said one girl looked as young as 13 years old.

“What could you possibly be going through at that age that you feel the need to break into somebody’s home?” Campos said.

Edward Campos owns the home and said he was shocked to see just how young the burglars were. One was in floral pants, and the other was in cutoff shorts.

“Anger, I feel anger,” Edward Campos said.

The family talked with police and with neighbors. They learned a strange gray Infiniti SUV was spotted in the area at the time of the burglary.

In fact, one neighbor told them the Infiniti sat outside his home for almost an hour.

The neighbor said two men and two young girls appeared to be inside the SUV.

On Wednesday, the family noticed an Infiniti SUV like the one described driving past their house.

The family snapped a picture of the SUV before it took off. They believe two men might be pressuring the girls to commit the crimes.

Either way, the family members said they want the teen thieves caught before they strike again.

“You have a conscience, and you should use that. Use your better judgment, basically,” Marissa Campos said.

If you recognize the girls, you are urged to call Gwinnett County police.
