ATLANTA — There was a big celebration at Ebenezer Baptist Church on Sunday for the King Legacy.

Channel 2 Action News was there as the gospel musical ‘Make a Joyful Noise’ celebrated the 95th birthday of Dr. Christine King Farris, Dr. King’s sister.
Farris, the only surviving sibling of King, is a retired Spelman College professor. Farris worked at Spelman College for 56 years.

Proceeds from the musical will go to the Christine King Farris Scholarship at Spelman College.
