JACKSON COUNTY, Ga. — A small plane had to make an emergency landing on a Jackson County highway Tuesday afternoon.
Jackson County deputies tell Channel 2 Action News the plane had an engine failure and the pilot was able to land it safely on the roadway.
The Piper PA-24 landed on Highway 441, about two miles from the city of Nicholson.
No one was injured.
The flight was headed to Henry County Airport, the FAA said.
