ATLANTA — The snow is impacting hundreds of flights at the world’s busiest airport Wednesday.
A ground delay at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport started at 5 a.m.
There have been more than 680 flight delays and nearly 250 cancelations, as of noon Wednesday.

Passengers say they are experiencing extended security screening wait times as long as 2 hours.
The airport said due to limited TSA staffing, security wait times are "approaching 60 minutes."
Delta has issued a waiver for some flights impacted from the winter weather:
If you wish to cancel your trip as a result of a flight cancellation or significant delay (90 minutes or more), you are entitled to a refund for the unused portion of your ticket. Even if your flight is not canceled, you may make a one-time change to your ticket without fee if you are scheduled to travel to, from, or through the following destination(s) on Delta, Delta Connection®, or Delta-coded flights during the specified time periods listed below.
