ATLANTA — A family is dealing with an unimaginable situation after their 11-year-old daughter was killed and her brother was injured in a two-car crash outside of an Atlanta school.

Channel 2's Matt Johnson learned a family member was taking Ren'gia Majors and her brother home from Sandtown Middle School on Friday when they were hit by another car.

Majors and her brother were both ejected from the car. The 11-year-old was pronounced dead at the hospital. Her brother was injured in the crash.

The family has set up a GoFundMe account to help pay for funeral expenses.

"I look for her to come in the morning to kiss me and she's not there," said her father, pastor Evan Majors.

Majors says he can barely go a day without thinking about his daughter, whom he calls his "guardian angel."

Majors, who is a pastor at New Destiny Global Ministries in South Fulton County, said the crash has tested his faith.

"God is the only thing that's helping me get through it, even though I was so angry with him," he said.

Majors said he worries for her younger brother who survived the crash.

"He has to live with that for the rest of his life, because he saw his sister ejected out of a vehicle," he said.

Police haven't said if Ren'gia was wearing her seat belt or if any charges are expected against the other driver.

Meanwhile, her father has questions about the crash powerful enough to take the life of his little girl.

"Why was that car able to go so fast in a school zone?" he asked.
