SOUTH FULTON, Ga. — Police are investigating how a 6-year-old boy was shot and killed in the city of South Fulton.
Investigators said they were called out to a home on Fox Hall Lane shortly before 7 p.m. Wednesday where they found the boy with a gunshot wound.
The boy’s 8- and 4-year-old siblings were there when the shooting happened. Investigators say they believe the shooting was accidental by one of the siblings with an unattended weapon.
“Our hearts cry out for the family during this difficult time,” the South Fulton Police Department said in a statement.
