FAIRBURN, Ga. — If you live in Fairburn, police want you to be aware that they’ll be conducting training exercises on Tuesday. They say you shouldn’t be alarmed if you hear gunfire.
Fairburn police will conduct the training at Open Word Christian Ministries at 6250 Highway 92 in Fairburn between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
They said if you see a heavy police presence near there and hear what sounds like real gunfire, it isn’t so don’t panic.

They will not be using any live ammunition during the training exercises.
