COLLEGE PARK, Ga. — Fulton County Schools announced Sunday that another staff member has been diagnosed with the coronavirus.
Officials said the person who is sick worked at Banneker High School and was at school during the last day of operation on Thursday.
Local public health officials are contacting people who may be directly impacted.
This is the third staff member of Fulton County Schools to be diagnosed with the virus.
Banneker High School is a meal distribution site in the county. Officials said the school was cleaned and disinfected after school was released and it is being cleaned and disinfected again Sunday. The high school will remain a distribution point.
Food distribution in Fulton County will begin Monday, March 16 at 11 a.m. and run until 2 p.m. at six sites across the county.
They include:
- Bannker High School in College Park
- Lake Forest Elementary School in Sandy Springs
- Mimosa Elementary School in Roswell
- Haynes Bridge Middle School in Alpharetta
- Tri-Cities High School in East Point
- Langston Hughes High School in Fairburn
