SOUTH FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — An attempted carjacker shot and killed a man pumping gas at a south Fulton County station Thursday afternoon. Hours later, police say they have a suspect in custody.
Fulton County police say the victim, identified as Kenneth Oglesby, was at his car at the Chevron at 3535 Roosevelt Highway when the gunman approached.
The suspect told Oglesby to give him his car and before the Oglesby could get a word in, the gunmen shot him, according to police.

The victim ran inside where he collapsed and died.
Police say the gunman tried to leave in the victim's car, but could not get it to start.
He then jumped into a getaway car that was waiting for him.
Hours later, police found the getaway car on Old National Highway and chased it.
The driver of the getaway car eventually lost control and crashed into a light post.
The suspect was arrested.
