SOUTH FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — Police said a 24-year-old man was shot and killed while trying to sell his PlayStation through the OfferUp app.
Police said Larry Stewart was shot multiple times Friday morning after meeting someone at an apartment complex off Kenelworth Drive in East Point.
“I don’t know how to feel, honestly. It was just the two of us. We were the only kids that my mom and dad had,” said Stewart’s sister, Jamila Bigham.
Bigham said her brother posted his PlayStation 4 on the OfferUp app and got a response from someone who wanted to buy it.

She said those around Stewart were uneasy about the deal.
“My boyfriend told him not to do it. (He said), ‘Just go sell it at the store instead.’ But I guess he took it upon himself (and) thought he’d get more for selling it on the street,” she said.
Witnesses said Stewart was in a stairwell meeting with the buyer when he was shot multiple times in the chest. He ran after being hit, but collapsed.
Police said the shooter has not been caught.
“This needs to come to justice. Whoever it was that did it, they need to show their face,” Bigham said.
The victim’s sister said her brother worked as a security guard and kept to himself. She doesn’t know what could have provoked the shooting.
“It wasn’t worth it. A life isn’t worth a game system,” she said.
Police say if you're buying or selling something, meet in a safe, public place with cameras or come to a police station.
