SOUTH FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — The South Fulton Police Department is searching for a missing 3-week-old baby after her mother assaulted a Department of Family and Children Services officer and took off.
Israel White is three weeks old. Police say her mother, Angela White, 36, took her after officers went to her home to take the baby into custody. Police say the baby is in danger.
Channel 2′s Justin Gray talked to the investigator on the case, who said White failed a drug test.
Gray talked to the father of White’s other children, who said he doesn’t think White is a danger to the baby. He said White loves the child, which is why she reacted so strongly when police came to the home to take the baby.
