FULTON COUNTY, Ga — City of South Fulton residents living in the Rose Crest subdivision say they are not satisfied with the quality of their home.
“All the closet shelves fell down,” said Zanza Morris.
Poor craftsmanship is how she and other neighbors are describing their homes.

“Outlets and things like that don’t work,” said Amber Miller.
The homeowners say the homes are only six months old. Residents say no working electrical outlets, HVAC issues and non-working plumbing are just a few of the problems.
We found out that the eight townhomes were built by contractor Lado Banjo.
He spoke with Channel 2 by phone and said he sees nothing wrong with the properties.

“There’s no constructional flaws, we’ve given them a certificate of occupancy,” Banjo said.
In emails given to Channel 2 by the homeowners, the city’s building inspector noted in one email the problems were warranty issues with the builder.
Residents say one of their biggest concerns is that all of the HVAC return vents in their homes are directly over their cooking areas.
It’s incorrect placement according to state code.
“I wouldn’t have known that unless an HVAC person pointed it out to me,” Morris said.
Banjo did say this is his first development. The City of South Fulton has instructed homeowners to file a complaint against Banjo with the state. The owners say they just want this construction fixed before their warranty is up.
