ATLANTA — Investigators said a shooting in the parking lot of a metro Atlanta Walmart has left a woman in serious condition.
The incident happened Tuesday morning in the parking lot of the Walmart in the 6100 block of Old National Highway in the city of South Fulton.
Police say the shooting took place after two women got into an argument outside the business.

The woman was taken to a nearby hospital in serious condition. She has since undergone surgery and remains in serious condition. Her identity is not being released at this time.
The accused shooter, 19-year-old Shameia Thomas of Augusta, was taken into custody. She is being charged with aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
The store was shutdown while police investigated the shooting. It reopened shortly after 12 p.m. Tuesday. So far, no charges have been filed in the incident.
