Poppell Farms unveiled the design just time for the college football season. The farm is located in Odom, Georgia, which is about 35 miles from Bennett’s home town of Blackshear.
The design features a likeness of Bennett and an ode to the Dawgs’ 33-18 win over Alabama in the College Football Playoff Championship.
Bennett captured the Most Valuable Player title with a pair of touchdowns, 224 passing yards and 65.4% completion percentage.

The maze itself is made up of 10 acres for visitors to explore and is made of sorghum. It’s a grain that grows as tall as corn does and is used for sweetening.
“In the United States, sorghum is used as livestock feed. It’s a popular crop to grow within the drier regions of the States because it is drought resistant,” the farm said.
Planning for the maze can takes months. Poppell Farms said it sends an idea out to the Maize Company in Utah and lets their graphic designers take over from there.
Once the design is finalized, the company flies a crew down to south Georgia to cut the design. The total process can take about a month, according to the farm.
