Griffin police searching for woman who stole lawn vehicle, thousands of dollars of tools

GRIFFIN, Ga. — Griffin police are searching for a woman they say stole thousands of dollars of merchandise.

Police have released surveillance footage of a female suspect wearing a hoodie inside a store.

They say the woman caught on camera stole a John Deere Gator and $5,000 of hand tools from a maintenance shop.

Investigators say they are also searching for the drivers of a gold Toyota Avalon who could be able to assist them in their investigation. They have not commented on how the vehicle may be involved.
