ATLANTA — Passengers describe a chaotic scene along Terminal D and Hartsfield Jackson International Airport.

Consumer investigator Jim Strickland learned an airline known for being late Monday morning swung to the other extreme.

Strickland found out about it from one of the affected passengers, who called to say several Spirit Airlines flights left too early.

Channel 2's cameras couldn't get though security without a ticket, so Strickland had his tipster shoot a video showing more than 100 people in line trying to get rerouted or refunded.

This video was shot between 9 and 10 a.m. Monday.

Where Channel 2 had access -- at the ticket counter -- you couldn't tell there was an issue and employees wouldn't talk about it.

Spirit Airlines is blaming TSA delays for making more than 100 atlanta passengers miss their flights.
