Smith said Mt. Hope Baptist Church parsonage was heavily damaged by a fallen tree.
"A combination of a pattern of debris, plus what we see on radar. So for a downburst straight line wind event, a lot of the damage will be pointing in one direction, maybe even divergent, pointing away, whereas a tornado will be more crisscrossing,” said Warning coordinator Dave Nadler.
Deputies are asking people to stay out of the area.
There were no reports of injuries.
