ATLANTA — The Atlanta Braves policy regarding food and beverages has changed at SunTrust Park.

Turner Field used to allow fans to bring in outside goodies, but SunTrust Park will not permit it, according to the AJC.

There will be an exception for infant food and special needs dietary items. Fans may also continue to bring their own water in sealed plastic containers into the park.

A Braves spokesperson said the new food and drink policy changes are a result of tighter security being put into place this season throughout the league.

Starting opening day, ticket holders can enjoy food and drinks brought from home in one parking lot only, located in a designated tailgating zone, which can be found in the SunTrust Park parking guide.

At the tailgating lot, vendors can sell alcohol and other approved cooler set-ups, which includes the sale of draft beer. Open containers cannot be taken from the lot, and you must be at least 21 years of age to drink alcohol.

If fans forget to leave prohibited items behind, the ballpark security may require you to return them to your car, or throw them away before entering.

A variety of other things are also banned, including drones, glass containers and even beach balls.

Details and updates will be posted on the Braves' site prior to the team's exhibition game March on 31.

According to the AJC, SunTrust Park has not yet finalized the bag policy.
