Detectives said the woman walked up to the counter, and pulled out a fake ID with the victim’s name and information and gave it to the teller.
The teller pulled up the account on the computer while the woman used her cellphone. Minutes later, the banker gave the woman a form to sign.
Police said she forged the victim’s name.

Seconds later, the suspect raised her arms in celebration. That’s when the teller passed the woman three envelopes with $30,000 in cash. She put it in her purse and walked out of the bank.
The victim noticed something was wrong when the bank notified her about a new debit card being issued and that it would be mailed to her home. That’s when she notified Chase Bank and the Duluth police department.
Detectives have warrants for theft and ID fraud for the suspect. If you recognize the woman, you’re asked to call Duluth police.
