SOUTH FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — A family member released the name and photo of a Langston Hughes High School student who survived a crash that killed four classmates.
Sophomore Lexus Todd was in the back of the Lincoln Navigator involved in Monday's deadly crash with a tractor-trailer in South Fulton County, Todd's grandmother told Channel 2's Tyisha Fernandes.
The crash happened about 1:17 p.m. at Ga. 92 and Butner Road, according to police.
Investigators identified the victims as Octavious Rhodes, 16, of Fairburn; Cameron Jones, 16, of Atlanta; Isaiah Gregory, 15, of Atlanta and Ke'Ariy Lopez, 14, of Atlanta.
The five teens were inside the SUV. Police said the driver, a teenage boy, ran a red light.
Three of the teens were trapped inside the car and had to be extricated, Fulton fire Deputy Chief Charles Stubb said. The driver was ejected.
Todd was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital and was the only survivor. She was sitting in the back seat.
"Had she been on the passenger side, she would have expired with the rest of them," Todd's grandmother, Priscilla, said.

Tuesday was a tough day for students as they dealt with the loss of four of their classmates.
"So many children were on the floor crying," school mentor Anissa Williams said. "I saw a hefty young man... about 6'1" just really balling and crying."
School officials put together a team of psychologists, counselors and social workers to help students work through their grief.
"We offer prayer to them, prayer of encouragement, just in a time of a tragedy because a lot of them don't know how to deal with it," Pastor Bobby Hampton said.
Hampton volunteered his time to help the students.
School officials plan to have counselors available through the end of the school year.
GoFundMe pages have been set up for some of the victims:
